O Urbano em Processo e a Égide do Capital Mercantil

RESUMO

Este trabalho tem como objetivo precípuo participar do debate sobre o fenômeno urbano no Brasil. A tese que defendemos é que o urbano é um fenômeno em processo, portanto, em constante transformação. Este processo de transformação contínua é conduzido pelo capital mercantil, principal agente coordenador da acumulação capitalista na esfera da circulação. Ademais, registramos em diferentes momentos desse trabalho que o urbano é o locus catalisador de diversos conflitos: Sociais, econômicos, políticos, culturais, etc. Com base nessa complexidade, deixamos claro que não tem como conceituá-lo de forma precisa. Assim, o mais importante é tentar entendê-lo em seu movimento contraditório de construção e de destruição

enquanto espaço social constituído utilizando-se para tanto a transdisciplinaridade envolvida no esforço de compreensão do mesmo. O fenômeno urbano enquanto produto da acumulação do capital ocorre em qualquer realidade social capitalista de forma contraditória, complexa e dinâmica, portanto, em processo.

ABSTRACT

This work has as objective right to a preferential share to participate of the debate on the urban phenomenon in Brazil. The thesis that we defend is that the urban one is a phenomenon in process, therefore, in constant transformation. This process of continuous transformation is lead by the mercantile capital, main coordinating agent of the capitalist accumulation in the sphere of the circulation. Thus, we register at different moments of this work that the urban one is locus catalytic of diverse conflicts: Social, economic, politicians, cultural, etc. On the basis of this complexity, we leave clearly that it does not have as to appraise it of necessary form. Thus, most important it is to try to understand it in its contradictory movement of construction and destruction while social space consisting using itself for in such a way the involved several disciplines in the effort of understanding of the same. The urban phenomenon while product of the accumulation of the capital occurs in any capitalist social reality of contradictory, complex and dynamic form, therefore, in process.
